Well as I said in the previous post, this is sans Deborah. We streamlined this episode quite a bit so that some of the things we had planned with Debbie weren’t ruined by her schedule last week.

This episode Larry and I answered some listener questions and as well as talked about some comic news. Like the Power Girl on-going and new Black Panther animated series.

Well Larry and I decided to go ahead and record sans Debbie. It was a total sausage fest. :/

I think we did alright though. I’ll be the first to admit that having a third really brings the show together though. Hopefully next week Deborah will be back with a vengeance. Until then I’m going to be watching SNL remembering Chris Farley for the hundredth time. The Swayze skit is always good!

Well Debbie couldn’t join us this week in our ramblings so we postponed until we can get a fill in or until the original whipping girl can grace us with her presence. So it’ll be either Saturday or Sunday before we can record.

I can hear the collective whimpers from here.

Episode 3

Clocking it a over 2 hours again, but still shorter!

This week we talk a little more about Batman:Brave and the Bold and the Grant Morrison interview over at Newsarama. Some of us are more excited about Final Crisis than others.

From last week’s episode we have a returning Stann, who brings us an informed Smallville recap to catch you up before it starts back up.

We move on from there to review Titans #1, Wolverine #64, Amazing Spider-Man #556, and Batman Death Mask #1. Then provide you with our recommendations for the week and the titles we’re looking forward to for next week.

We finish out the show by wrapping up our Batman:Hush discussion.

To be honest I never thought we’d make it past the first episode. To have recorded episode 3 and still want to keep going is something in itself. This episode should have a much more elaborate production, as Larry has taken over the editing duties. He’s already went crazy with the drops and recorded some pretty great bumpers, so I’m pretty pumped to hear what he ends up with. The advantage to me not editing is (a) I have more time with my family and (b) I get tired of hearing my own voice after about 5 hours. We’re still running long but it seems to all add up at the end of the episode when we do the in depth stuff. We’re still fine tuning that segment….Anyway, be on the look out for episode 3 on Friday.
