Episode 12- Top 5 Trades
Yet another episode has arrived. I feel like we’re cranking episodes out lately, which I guess we are. It’s just that we’re playing catch up. We have a little different format this week. Joining us instead of Debbie is long time board member Suzanne.We all chatted with her for the first time this week and it was a pleasure. She brought a bit of comic knowledge that we are normally lacking.
This week instead of comic reviews for the previous week, we’ll be voicing our choices for the Top 5 Trades out of our collections. They range from Early Justice League stuff to Alias to 90′s X-men.
Take a listen and hear our take on some of our favorite trades.

3. The Preview of Wolverine: Old Man Logan

6. Our predictions for the Incredible Hulk
In our review section we have:

* Amazing Spider-Man #561
We wrap up the show with out usual round of comic recommendations and the books we anticipate most for the next week.
Episode 10- X-men movie commentary
And we’re back!
After nearly two weeks of no shows we’re back with two shows this week. Episode 10 is gonna deal with the X-Men from 2000. We were supposed to do Batman, but we changed it up at the last minute. We all had plenty to say about this one though. From it’s flaws to it’s perfections we really have X-Men to thank for the success of Marvel’s movie franchise. If it had bombed would we have had Iron Man this year? So pop the movie in or just listen in on us talking out of our asses. Either way hope you enjoy it.
Change of plans
Due to Ashlee’s local Blockbuster not having a copy of Batman we had to change it up a bit. So Tuesday we did a commentary on the X-men movie from 2000. So if you were expecting Batman….sorry.
Kinda upsetting for me
So Chuck Dixon is no longer employed by DC. He hasn’t said why. They haven’t said why. I guess it’s better no to really, but I want to know who fucked up a good thing. Chuck Dixon was on fire with the books he was writing. Batman and the Outsiders? Robin? Both have been the best they have been in quite some time.
I’m pissed.
No podcast last week, but hopefully 2 this week
Yeah….sorry about that.
We didn’t get around to the podcast last week. It was mostly my fault though. Last week being the first week of the month meant movie commentary. This month it’s Tim Burton’s Batman. We’re gonna make it up this week, so you’ll get your fix of our pointless conversations. We were gonna record as usual on Wednesday, but I couldn’t find my dvd, which lead me to having to buy a copy at Circuit City. I’ll discuss my frustration with that in the podcast. Another reason we’ve been remiss is that we’ve recently rekindled our enjoyment of the mmo City of Heroes. I have found that actually talking to my teammates in game adds a bit to it. If you play be sure to send us a message and we’ll get some playtime in together.
In closing expect 2 shows this week.
Thanks for listening guys and send in some mail, because the mail bag is getting dusty.
Episode 9
Hello again from Capes and Tights.
We had a random discussion filled show this episode. Our opening could quite possibly be our longest to date. Our mailbag may have contributed to that. We received another thought provoking question from Linda Gomez.
We also have a special segment with Chris and Ashlee where they discuss many a fashion faux pas in the Superhero world. I present to you…Fashion Puleasuh.
In our News segment we discuss a little Watchmen news, Indy’s box office weekend, SI/FC book totals, new clips from the Hulk, Heroes scheduled return, and a Spidey rumor that was circulating.
In the Review segment we covered
* Superman/Batman #48
* JLA 21
* Robin #174
* Mighty Avengers #14
It was my turn to pick the worst of the week so we discussed the mess that was Ultimate X-men #94
