Is the world ready for 2 Batmen?
The simple answer is no. No one is ready for 2 Batmen. Sometimes you ask questions that are obviously going to be answered no by 99.9% of the population. Do you like getting punched in the face? Are you ready for your prostate exam? Are you going to stick your hand in that fire? Most [...]

Official Walking Dead Trailer
Much more polished trailer than the one we saw from comic con. The scene at the tank was a nice surprise towards the end. It’s good to know that it won’t be lifted directly from the books and long time readers might have something new to experience.

Batman’s new costume
Is it just me or are the 90s coming back with a vengeance when it comes to costume choices? First we have Wonder Woman redesigned into a bizarre ensemble and now we have Batman trotting around a Batman and Robin movie costume with a little more color. After Return of Bruce Wayne wraps up Grant [...]

Last week Marvel named long-time comic writer Jeph Loeb to the position of Executive Vice President, Head of Television for Marvel Studios. Loeb has been the writer of some of my favorite stories across Marvel and DC. Spider-Man:Blue, Batman:Hush, and his run on Superman/Batman are some I hold close. On the other hand Loeb has [...]
Sony Pictures has finally settled on the new Spider-man for the 2012 reboot of the franchise and the person filling out the tights is young actor, Andrew Garfield. I’ll admit to being a little confused when I saw the headline: Garfield to be the new Spider-man. I thought maybe they were revamping Spider-Ham instead. Since [...]
DC comics has really damaged my view of the world. Not just comic books at large, but the actual world I physically occupy on a breath-by-breath basis. The mere thought of upcoming story lines involving altered versions of our favorite characters (for a brief time only until their miraculous return!) makes me wish the Internet [...]
Might as well go ahead and call this the comic of the week given all the publicity Diana’s gotten in the past few days – that, and it was probably the best thing to come out. Like Superman 700, this issue is around 50 pages containing multiple stories by different artists and writers. The first [...]
